“But it turns out the heir has a sister.”

Head perked up to hear that. “Sister eh?"

The man nodded and placed a folder on the table as the folder was opened up, there were white sheets of paper and on the front was a picture of a girl with (e/c) eyes and (h/c) hair, golden brown eyes scanned the picture, a small smirk on lips as the picture was lifted off the folder.

You had snuck upstairs while the party was still ongoing. Anger bubbled in your body at the announcement you would be working for your sister, you hated that your parents would do something like that, always making the decision for you. You continued to walk down the hall as you finally reached your bedroom. You opened the door and slammed it shut, luckily nobody could hear the door slam shut due to the party. You snarled and kicked the high heels off your feet and somewhere in the room.

“Stupid family, stupid party.” You grumbled.

You sat on your bed with your arms crossed and a scowl on your face as you wiped a few tears away that were threatening to fall. You heard a knock on your door and the maid stepped inside.

“Are you ok miss?” She asked.

“No.” You grumbled.

“Is it because of that announcement?”

You chuckled. “You know me too well.”

“But of course, I have been caring for you since you were a toddler.”

You sighed. “Can you pull the zip down?”

She walked over and reached the zip that was on your back as she pulled it down as far as it could go.

“Thanks.” You mumbled as you quickly took the dress off and changed into a plain white t-shirt and black tracksuit bottoms with two purple stripes going up them.

The maid took the dress as she placed it on a hanger as you walked to your bed and laid on it as you stared at the white ceiling with a blank expression. You turned your head to look to the outside world, you could of sworn a light bulb lit above your head. You sat up but your gaze was still on the window, a grin on your face. Beyond the fence was freedom, something you had to do. Your grin faded, you would had to wait until everyone was gone and your parents asleep along with Violet before you can put your plan to full use.

For now you had watched TV, a movie about Sci-Fi as there was nothing else on. You let out a small grunt as you then yawned slightly. The door opened and the maid stepped inside with a pizza box. You grinned and took it off her.

“Ah, you really know me well.” You chuckled.

She smiled and gave a small bow as she then left your room and closed it behind her. You opened the box as the smell of pizza hit your nose, you inhaled the smell and sighed in bliss as you breathed out, you almost drooled.

“God I love you pizza.” You said gleefully.

You took a slice of pizza from the box and began to eat it as the cheese was gooey. You continued to nibble on your hot, yet delicious meal. You moved the pizza away as you made a string of cheese. You pulled on it and stuffed the cheese into your mouth. You chewed whilst looking out the window as the moon shone brightly in the starry sky. You crossed your legs as you swallowed your food and took another bite of the pizza in your hand.

That stupid party was still ongoing.

You groaned and looked at your clock on the wall as it was saying half eleven,another half an hour and it would be midnight. You sighed and watched another movie, about horror this time, sure some people would have nightmares but you were used to it, you had watched so many horror movies that it doesn't faze you any longer. You yawned and rubbed your eyes as you continued to watch the movie, you were going to get a scolding tomorrow for not socialising with other people, some had asked questions about working for your sister, you simply glared at them and stormed off.

You wasn't in the mood to talk.

The last straw was when one of the people, a guy around Violet's age gave your ass an squeeze. You quietly threatened him into a beating then you had stormed to your room.

“Rude bastard.” You hissed as you referred to that guy.

“I need to get away.” You muttered.

You sat up on your bed and looked around as you hugged your knees. You looked outside as a plan was formulating in your mind. You nodded at the plan of waiting until everyone was fast asleep, it won't be easy but you had to do it. You looked to outside once more, then you looked at the fence as you scowled slightly, climbing the fence was going to be a difficult task.

You got off your bed and went to search for clothing, jeans, hoodies, a couple tank tops, couple of denim shorts, your flip flops and some t-shirts with prints on them. You nodded and grabbed your hiking bag and quickly placed the clothes into the bag as you quickly closed it and hid it.

You went to get some money from your draw which you had off your grandmother. You placed that in your wallet and then placed the wallet in your hoodie pocket along with your mobile phone so you could check the time. You sighed and rubbed your eye, getting out was the hard part.

“When will this stupid party end?” You grumbled.

You heard your door open and spotted your maid, she had always served you, nobody else, apparently your mother hired her to take care of you.

“Helen.” You muttered, calling by her real name.

“Yes miss?”

“Please call me _____, you've known me for a damn long time.”

You took a deep breath. “Promise not to tell and don't show you knew.”

“_____?” Helen questioned.

“...I'm running away.”

Her eyes widened at your announcement as you gave her a serious look, to say you really meant in running away from this house you currently staying in.

“A-Are you certain?” She asked.

You nodded. “I have to Helen, I can't take it, I'm sick and tired of my parents making the decisions for me.”

She said nothing for a minute as your frown deepened and you then sighed.

“_____, I'll come with you.” She insisted.

You shook your head. “No, I don't want my parents to get suspicious.”

“Well...Alright.”

You looked around. “How long to go?”

“It's finished, everyone is beginning to leave.” Helen explained.

“Thank god.” You huffed.

“When do you plan to go?”

“Once everyone is asleep.”

“Well you better go tonight, your parents have hired security and a code at the gate.” She warned you.

You gave a nod. “I planned to leave tonight anyway”

“Please be careful _____, who knows what you come across.”

You gave another nod. “I will Helen, I hope our paths cross again.”

“Well...Good night, until next time.”

She closed the door behind her as you sighed, you felt bad for leaving her behind but you had no choice, everyone would get suspicious if you took her with you.

“Good luck Helen.” You muttered.

The house was quiet, not a single sound could be heard, nothing, the only sounds were the crickets outside but that was about it.

Perfect.

You sat up and kicked the covers off before pulling them back to where they were originally were. You looked around and then grabbed your bag as you placed it on your back. You looked around once more and walked to your sliding door and onto the balcony. You closed the door behind you and then climbed down from the balcony, you were thankful that there was gaps in the bricks, you continued to climb down until your feet were planted on the ground.

You looked around one last time as you then slipped away from the mansion and into the darkness.
