The island was getting closer and closer as you stared at it, it wasn't a small island nor was it huge. You hugged yourself as the coat you wore blew gently in the wind, the sand was gold as you spotted many trees, you knew finding this treasure was not going to be easy. You spotted some cliffs and a couple of large rocks under the cliffs, you had no idea what was beyond the trees as you swallowed your saliva and scanned the area before you, the ship came to a stop as most of the crew went to the boat that awaited. You tightened your belt as you headed towards the boat and climbed into it as the boat was lowered. You continued to look to the island as the crew member was rowing the boat gently towards the awaiting island. You let out a tiny yawn but said nothing else as you continued to look at the island.

Once the boat reached the island, you all climbed out as you headed towards the sand, you were thankful you wore high boots so your trousers were kept dry, most of the crew were not lucky as some grumbled from getting wet. You said nothing and kept on looking to the trees in front of you.

You sighed to yourself, this was going to be a long day.

“Don't get lost, da?”

You said nothing and looked at Ivan as you gave a tiny nod and looked back at the rainforest since the atmosphere was warm, very warm. You sighed and mumbled under your breath as you looked around. You sighed again as you looked to the blue sky. A hand was placed on your shoulder.

“Stay close to me.” Arthur muttered in your ear.

You said nothing and simply gave a nod as he looked at the map in his hands.

“Finally, after waiting for so long.” Arthur muttered once again.

You said nothing and followed him as he walked forward with the rest of the crew following. You frowned and shifted, a funny feeling settling in your gut, you shook it off and continued to follow the crew, after much chopping you all came to a stop in a clearing as you looked around. Arthur and Alfred were quietly talking to themselves. You looked around and then sighed quietly to yourself.

You turned your head to see Lovino swearing at Antonio as you shook your head. Feliciano was on the ship along with Gilbert who claimed he was too awesome to come along with us, you felt he was scared but wouldn't admit it.

You had been walking for a good while now as your feet began to ache but you didn't protest nor complain, one crew member suggested they rest but one glare from Arthur shut him up immediately. You huffed and wiped some sweat off your forehead as you looked around, the sound of bushes rustling got you on edge as your hand was on the handle of your sword.

A arm wrapped around your neck as you let out a cry of alarm. Everyone turned to see what the commotion was about, another group of pirates stepped out, a chuckle reached your ear.

“Thought you could get my treasure eh Kirkland.” The man sneered.

You recognized the voice as the Arthur's former captain. Bill if you remember right

“Let her go you bloody wanker!” Arthur snarled.

Bill laughed and tightened his grip on your neck which caused you to yelp.

“How did you find this island!” Arthur demanded.

“I had another map, I knew you stole my map so I had a spare one.”

You said nothing as you looked around nervously. You let out a small choke as the grip was tightened around your neck.

“You're hurting her!” Arthur snapped.

“So this little wench managed to save you from the noose eh? I always get word one way or another.”

There was silence as you said nothing at all. You struggled for air as your windpipe was being crushed, well, that's what it felt like. You said nothing and swallowed hard. You lifted your elbow and kneed him in the gut, he released you as you scrambled away. You fell into Alfred's arms as he caught you.

There was yelling and then a bang, fear washed through your body. You slowly turned your head and to your surprise, he was dead and Arthur was alright.

“You little bastard! You killed our captain!” One of Bill's crew member yelled.

You saw as the man's body was on the floor, not moving, not stirring. You said nothing and looked at Arthur who's hand was shaking which held the gun. You said nothing and approached your captain.

“Arthur.” You murmured.

You soon turned to Bill's crew.

“Get lost!” You spat.

The crew fled, no longer having a captain. Arthur placed his gun back in place as he looked at you.

“Are you ok?” You asked him.

“I should be asking that question love.”

You said nothing and simply nodded, still a little shaken up. Arthur pulled you into a hug.

“It's ok.” He cooed. “Nobody will hurt you.”

You said nothing but enjoyed his embrace instead.

You continued on after that encounter, everything had calmed down now as you continued to follow the map to where the treasure lies. You looked around and gave a tiny frown. Two crew members carried shovels just in case. You took a deep breath and then breathed out as you continued to follow the crew that was in front.

You all eventually came to a stop in a clearing as you noticed the dirt was more darker than normal, was that a hint the treasure was there?

“Start digging.” Arthur ordered.

The two crew member with the shovels went over to the dirt patch and began to dig. You spotted a rock and sat on it as you sighed and crossed your arms. You closed your eyes for a moment as you could hear the sounds of the shovel moving, bringing up sand. There was a thunk sound as you opened your eyes.

“I found something!”

You got off the rock as the chest was pulled from the hole they dug. Arthur looked at it as he then opened it, the treasure inside the chest shining due to the sun's rays. The crew began to cheer as you gave a smile, you had hauled treasure but nothing like this before, it excited you a lot.

“_____.”

You turned to face Arthur who approached you, he looked nervous as he held his hand behind his back.

“What's wrong?” You asked.

He said nothing as he pulled whatever was behind his back. Your eyes widened slightly to see it was a silver ring with (f/c) gem on top. Arthur got onto one knee

“You're the light of my life, _____, will you marry me?”

You couldn't say anything but simply nodded, still in shock.

“Yes.” You managed to get out.

Arthur gave a smile as he stood up and slipped the finger on your ring, the crew cheered as you looked at the ring.

“Get this treasure on the ship!” Arthur ordered.

You gave a smile as you watched the crew scramble about.

You stood on deck as the island was getting smaller and smaller. You sighed but said nothing as your fiancée wrapped his arms around your waist and kissed your neck. You giggled softly but said nothing else.

“Captain! There's a marine ship in front of us!” A crew member cried.

“Oh bloody hell!” Arthur growled as he released you.

You followed your captain as you spotted the marine ship.

“KIRKLAND!” Your father roared.

You scoffed as Arthur chuckled. You shook your head as Arthur hugged you from behind. Andrew glared at you and Arthur as you glared back at him and pulled the gun from it's hold as you cocked it and aimed at him.

“You don't have the guts.” He chuckled.

“Don't I?” You asked as you pulled the trigger.

You watched as he fell and you smirked ever so slightly, all the marines let out cries of alarm as you placed the gun back safely.

“Destroy their ship!” Arthur ordered.

He walked off as he took you with him as you could hear the cannons being fired. You both walked into the cabin as Arthur closed the door behind him. You sat on the bed but then gasped as Arthur pinned you down onto the bed.

“Let's celebrate our engagement shall we.~” Arthur purred.

You blushed furiously as he captured your lips into a kiss.
